Books of Dr. Makarand Upadhyaya

Dr. Makarand Upadhyaya is currently an Associate Professor, Department of Management and Marketing, College of Business Administration, University of Bahrain, Bahrain. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, in 2010. He also holds an MBA, PGDPM and PGDCA from Vikram University, Ujjain. He has more than 25 years of combined experience in industry and academia. Widely travelled around the globe, he was awarded the Faculty Distinguished Scholarship Award in 2007 by the Research Council, India. His areas of research fall within the domains of consumer behavior and strategic board leadership. He also chairs and is a member of various committees and advisory boards. He is the author of the following books: Public-Private-Partnership (Ppp) and Economic Development: Theory and Recent Experiences; Marketing Management: Concepts, Theories and Practices; Marketing Strategies and Management: Sector Analysis; and Media Planning: Impact of TV Advertisements on Children.

Dr. Upadhyaya has nearly 80 citations of papers published in several international journals. He has been the chairperson and keynote speaker at the forums on business strategies and economic growth. He has conducted more than 40 training and development sessions on client relationships, behavioral aspects of the overseas market, stress management, interpersonal skills, and team building for senior and junior level corporate managers. He was a guide and mentor to students pursuing Ph.D. and MBA courses. He was a national sports player in basketball and cricket.
